(VANCOUVER, BC – June 30, 2005) – One of Vancouver’s best kept culinary secrets is this: Quattro on Fourth boasts Kitsilano’s prettiest patio. This summer Quattro on Fourth is turning up the heat outdoors by opening early, at 4pm on weekdays, and offering exclusive tapas, antipasti and drinks menus.
Antipasto selections include Ahi tuna tartar, baked eggplant with mozzarella, goat cheese stuffed Italian artichoke, and Parma prosciutto wrapped housemade grissini. Guests can also create a cheese plate or choose from over 10 tapas items including housemade meatballs baked with sweet onions and spicy tomato ragout served with grilled ciabatta; crispy mushroom polenta fries with truffle mayo; seared sea scallop with granny smith apples with fig jam, sesame oil, and wilted greens; ceviche with scallops, calamari, shrimp, clams in a cilantro lime vinaigrette; and mini rack of baby back ribs with housemade barbeque sauce, grilled peaches and cream corn and old fashioned coleslaw.
The tempting beverage menu includes a selection of cocktails, martinis and sparkling wine perfect for sipping with friends, along with Patrick Corsi’s favourite summer wine selections.
Quattro on Fourth’s patio is a lush urban oasis. Its leafy green canopy provides shade on a blistering afternoon while heaters and great company provide warmth on a chilly Vancouver night.
Antonio Corsi and his son, Patrick, own and operate three successful restaurants: Quattro on Fourth, Quattro at Whistler and Gusto di Quattro. Visit them at www.quattrorestaurants.com.
